Maycast-Nokes joined over 60 other local businesses to celebrate the launch of Colchester Institute's brand new STEM Innovation Centre at their Braintree campus.

The multi-million pound centre is the first of its kind in the local region. Equipped with state-of-the-art technology including 3D scanning the STEM centre will provide training for a variety of industry sectors including plumbing, construction and mechanical engineering.

Colchester Institute played a key role in Maycast-Nokes becoming a Top100 apprenticeship employer and Managing Director Steve Wallings was on hand to perform ribbon cutting duties alongside local MP James Cleverly who officially opened the building.

The following short video provides a glimpse of the STEM centre which has been designed from the ground up to equip students with the skills needed to gain industry relevant qualifications.
