Under glorious Spring sunshine Maycast-Nokes and fellow local engineering company Transport hosted a charity football match at Gosfield village to raise money for Broomfield Hosptial Children’s Burns Ward.

Despite trailing 1-4 at half-time Maycast-Nokes, thanks to their talismanic striker Ashley Phillips, bounced back to win a thrilling 11 goal derby 6-5.

The match was followed by a BBQ and raffle with over £1000 being raised.

Maycast would like to thank Transporter for organising Saturday’s match and we look forward to a rematch at Halstead Town FC to raise more funds for local charities.
