We’d like to congratulate both Ashley Phillips and Jessica Livings on their recent success at the Skills UK awards ceremony in London a few weeks ago.

Ashley, Metal Industry Apprentice of the year - winner of the Career Development category

Jess, Metal Industry Apprentice of the year - awarded runner-up in the Craft Skills category

Ashley joined Maycast in 2014 - he completed his Apprenticeship 4 years later and has gone on to complete his HNC/HND, Foundation Degree and had most recently his full degree in Mechanical Engineering. Ashley is now looking to complete a Masters Degree.

Jess joined Maycast in 2019 as our youngest ever apprentice. Jess will complete her 4-year apprenticeship in 2023. She will move on to HNC/HND studies once her apprenticeship is completed.

Both of these awards are in recognition of the outstanding work that both Ashley and Jess have put into their studies inside and outside of Maycast-Nokes.

Maycast-Nokes would like to congratulate them both on their well-deserved success & would like to take the opportunity to thank all the staff, mentors and trainers who have helped with the development of all of our current and past apprentices. Without their input, support, knowledge and help our apprenticeship programme wouldn’t be the success that it is.
