The team at Maycast-Nokes recently took time out to enjoy a lunchtime BBQ and celebrate Phil Poulsom’s retirement from full-time work at the company.

Phil left his job at Avimo in Taunton in 1990 and moved to East Anglia to join Maycast-Nokes as Quality Manager. One of his first jobs was to formulate the company’s first quality manual which led to Maycast-Nokes gaining BS5750 quality accreditation.

In January 2000 Phil became Technical Director for the company, taking a more strategic role within Maycast-Nokes.

The Board is enormously grateful for Phil’s substantial contribution to the progress of Maycast-Nokes over the last 26 years and wishes him and his wife Rose a long and happy retirement.

Phil will continue in a part-time role as a technical consultant.
