This week Maycast took time out to enjoy a slice of cake and celebrate one of our team reaching 25 years’ service at the company. Richard Swift, Supervisor of our Fettling department joined Nokes Foundry (as it was then known) in March 1993.

During his two and a half decades with us Richard has held a number of different posts in the company and played a key role during the incorporation and relocation of Hitchin based Maycast Precision Products after its acquisition by Nokes Foundry in 1993. A qualified welder, Richard has made a significant contribution to the success of Maycast-Nokes, helping the company become a leader in the manufacture of aerospace-grade castings.
